Cucurbita moschata
Our go-to variety for butternut pumpkin. A staple in our garden all year round here in coastal subtropics. Just keep an eye on them during fruit fly season. Bell shaped fruits with 20-25cm long, 1-15kg fruit. Fruit has light tan, thin skinned bright orange flesh, great flavour and stores well.
