Black Toscana Kale is the typical variety you think of when you think of kale, very dark green with savoyed (curled) leaves.
A good staple to have, handles summer heat if you can keep the caterpillars away from it and it’s established before the heat sets in. Chickens love it (as you can see they’ve had some fun with our last years harvest).
